Still Here

Well, I've organized the shed that contains all my crafts and am sharing same shed with my teenage children. Still no sewing area and I haven't really been working on any projects. Just finishing some that I've already posted.

I've also adopted a kitten from my parents a sibling to Bryndle. This week I've been tending to all the kittens since my parents went on a road trip. Quite sure she'll be sharing her adventure when she gets back.
I've named my kitten Skunky and he is living up to his name. He's been farting when he plays at our feet and does it stink.

Hopefully, I'll have more to share later.

Almost complete

Finally persevered and working all day I have the coaster almost completed. I need to add accent to it and it will be  complete.
Lisa did the one on the right and mine is on the left.

I'm the Frog Queen

I've been without glasses due to irrattic diabetes fluctuating. As my blood sugers go up and down my eyesight goes in and out. No fun at all.
I've tried to crochet and each time I have to frog a project.

Unpacking II

It's slow going but we're getting there. Almost have a complete kitchen set up.

Now have washer and dryer. I've washed sheets and put out on clothesline. They smell so good. However our little area has become infested with skunks. Our Great Pyrenees got sprayed and oh my goodness the horrendous smell. She wasn't too happy either for the spraying or the cleaning.

I'm still without proper glasses as they had to reorder mine. Having to use old ones to try and see. On top of that my legs have been giving me a lot of trouble. Using walker constantly.

Been working on some straight crocheting for dish clothes. Can't see pattern to read it. But I still play around.

Decided to keep a little kitten. 3 weeks old and I'm bottle feeding it sift food and kitten milk. She's a cutie and Pookie  my big cat says stay away from me but my dogs don't seem to mind. This one I'm calling Bryndle.

Settling In

We're still unpacking and setting up house. It's nice being out in the country so much quieter. In fact, I've not had any headaches since we've moved.

I've still not set up a sewing nook (no craft room). Still have plenty of boxes to unpack, so not much time for crafting. Though thanks to Ravelry, I have a little project I work on in my me time. They're lace spiral coasters, which I'm hand stitching felt to the back of to keep my tables dry.

I've also adopted a two week old kitten. He is the cutest. Noisy when hungry, loves to explore, and thinks my kids are it's litter mates. Though my son's cat Loki doesn't know what to make of this new intruder.

Unpacking

Kids have moved to their new place and we both have been unpacking our respective items.

I went to the eye doctor and my eyes have gotten worse. I had to order new glasses and am still waiting for them to come in. Realized I'm blind as a bat but first thing in the morning when I wake up my eyesight is ok for maybe the first 15 minutes and then all goes blurry and it gets hard to see.

I can't see we;; enough to sew, crochet or paint so I'm unpacking and getting rid of a lot of things. Gonna have a garage sale when I'm done.

Until my glasses come in I won't be doing anything crafty. But like Lisa I'm going to start doing things for my kitchen.  I'll post them once I can see. Til then take care.
