We had a grand time. At registration we each got 3 new games each, at the charity sale we got a total of 6 used games, and at the game bazaar we acquired 4 more games. Of course we each have our own haul.

Today was the final day. Which of the games would make it out of the library vault? What would our intrepid players pick? Only 6 hours left to play!

We started at 9 this morning, played through lunch, had an early dinner, and now its time for bed. All are exhausted, minds overloaded on games, and ready to rest up for tomorrow.

Today was the first day of the Board Game Geek convention. This is my first year and I helped for an hour in the giant game library. So many games and just not enough time.

This years wristband.

So so long

Been a coons age since I've been on. Transplanted my garden, got some more chickens, been rearranging my sewing room and itching to start something new. I know, I know, I need to finish a few more before I start another.

That all being said, this weekend my family is headed to the BoardGameGeek convention. 4 days of playing board games and more board games. I simply needed a small purse for my essentials. So many choices on pinterest. These are what I whipped up. One for my daughter and one for myself.

Mother's Day Gift

Youngest son provided the $$$.  I provided the plans and hubby provided the labor. I now have a new Sewing Table

As you can see it is in the shape of a bay window.  On the left side is my cutting side, middle is for sewing and on the right is for Ironing.  It is set up so I can look out my windows at the birds bathing or feeding.  I'm so happy.

All I can say is I'm trying and making colossal fails but I've not given up. Just put it on the back burner.

I'm just sitting on this till I can figure it out.
