Pixel Update

Here's the third set of pixel blocks. Still have many more to go, but need to pack away.

My family and I are waiting word on if we'll be moving this month. Not wanting to start the next set only to have to pack it up mid sewing.

Finished embroidering a house warming gift for friends who had just moved into their new home. So pretty, decided to work on one for myself in hopes of our move.

Also, finished making those hexies into diamonds. Now to put it all together, but that will have to wait till after the move.

So, I'm in the process of keeping projects simple and quick and minimize tools.

Putting off

Yes I've not posted since my planned fishing trip. I had a lot of fun and all I can say is I got back home and just looked at the Tumbleweed square and said a resounding "NO".

Then I got sick and have been recovering from it.  Just as I got over illness I passed a stone. Hurt like crazy but I'm still alive. Thank you Jesus.

Had an awesome Tuesday with my hubby and then on Friday helped to celebrate son in laws birthday.

Now I look over at my design board and just "sigh"....maybe later...Just not now.

My youngest son is shipping out and I'm going to go say goodbye for awhile until I see him again.

Lisa stop haranguing me...lol

Current Work

Still waiting on mom to finish her tumble weed block. ;-) So, I've been working on other projects.

Finished covering all my hexagon papers and now on to stitching up those diamonds.

Also, a friend of ours got a new home, so I've been embroidering a house warming gift, which I'll quilt into a small wall hanging.

Which led to me digging through my scraps. What a mess I have, so decided Pinterest would inspire me with a way to organize my mess. They're are plenty of pins on this and I was inspired.  So, I'm ironing, cutting, and placing in specific containers to help find what I need when I need it. Yay!

Creating

Finished and hung up the minion banners for Children Church. Pinterest is full of ideas and I'm glad I don't need to make anything else minion related.

Been working on finishing projects as I wait for mom to work on her block. Also trying hard not to start anything new, however Pinterest gets me into too much trouble. I can't help but try a new quilt block or cross stitch pattern. Slowly putting away crochet unless a yarn just happens to catch my eye.

CC Decor

I was asked to make some decorations for our Children Church. The theme is Minions. I was asked to decorate doors. So, I made wreaths. Never really made any before, so I gave it a fair shot. Also in process of making banners to hang in windows. Not finished with those yet.

July 2nd

Today first day of fishing and they all said they wanted to be up by 0500. Didn't happen. I've been up since 0300 and those sleepy heads are just now getting up.
